The sad truth about 2021

February 2, 2021

In case you didn't see our post last week, Jamie Lynn Shelton and I have made the difficult decision to cancel Camparet in 2021. There is still too much uncertainty for us to risk undertaking an event of this scale, or to risk the health of anyone. Thank you for your support. We will revisit the future of this event in a few months.

January 25, 2021

Hello ladies, A year ago, we were just hearing the first news about this virus that has brought so much change to our world. I know that many of you have faced illness and loss. And for certain, we are all living our lives differently as a result. I sincerely hope that you and your families are healthy and weathering this disaster as best as you can. My family and myself are doing well, dealing with highs and lows, and so ready to get back to - or closer to - life as we knew it before.

Even with the hope of a vaccine, there are so many unknowns. And to cut right to the heart of the matter, there are too many unknowns for Jamie Lynn and I to plan a safe and successful event for you in 2021. We have decided to cancel any plans for Camparet in 2021. Since this makes the 2nd year in a row, we have contacted all pre-paid campers to begin processing refunds. If you pre-paid any amount for 2020, you should have already received an email from Jamie Lynn. If you are unsure or didn't get an email from her, please feel free to check with her directly Jamie Lynn Shelton.

You may be wondering what our plan is for 2022, and honestly so are we. It's too soon to say really. We will keep it on the back-burner and take a closer look later in the year.

Thank you all for your understanding, patience, and support!
